Just FYI ... in case anyone who reads this lives in the U.S. and is "covered" by health insurance and thinking of a trip to Costa Rica ..... remember to budget $300 per adult for vaccinations such as Hep A that your insurance probably won't cover.
They didn't say anything about Hep B. Hep A is two shots that need to be separated by at least 6 months ... so we have awhile until we need to get the second round.
If the needle's really that big for Hep B, hopefully I never need it!

I think Hep A is a round of two shots separated by a month and Hep B is a series of three...not sure though. AND THE NEEDLE IS HUGE!
