Why do maternity pants not have pockets? It's already odd enough that they don't have a zipper or snap or a waist, really. But why do they insist of putting fake pockets on the front? They give the illusion of pockets, with seams to seal up holes that don't exist. That seems to be an awful lot of work for very little return.Don't pregnant women need to carry things, too?

... Oh, yeah, you aren't a kangaroo ... Somebody should tell the maternity pants people that ...
I guess they think that you are already carrying the most precious thing in the world - so why would you want to have to carry anything else!?!
Oh well. I guess it gives me a reason to get out my favorite bags!
